Morton has been working for BBV on the HS2 project since January 2018, having started as a BIM Coordinator for SL4 (HS2 works in Birmingham), responsible for CAD/BIM Coordination, Validation, clash detection, 4D.
Morton is now working as a core BIM Manager ensuring that all BIM coordinators and mangers are working to the correct standards.
Created a BBV/HS2 flythrough application to support community engagement.

Showcasing an application developed inhouse for BBV community engagement, to support visualisation of all design assets for the HS2 Project.
Built with Unreal Engine 5, CAD Designs are streamed from Bentley iTwin, using Bentley 3DFT technology.
The designs sit on and under a Cesium streamed Google 3D tileset, which supports the localisation of all the HS2 designs.
Ecology designs are instanced at runtime, generated from CSV, X,Y,Z data taken from our internal GIS Systems
Apart from the visual fidelity, we also want to showcase design data and metrics, such as Carbon capture, quantity reporting, progress reporting and links to our asset information management systems.
The idea is to almost give real time reporting for all assets in an interface that is intuitive to use and navigate.
The application works well on a gaming laptop; however, we are externally hosting the application, which allows users to run the application through a password protected web browser.
