Managing Director, Informed Engineering Limited

As a BIM Information Management Consultant at Informed Engineering, Tom applies his 20 years of experience and credentials as a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE) and an Associate of the Charter Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) to deliver innovative and efficient solutions to the engineering and construction sector. He is the founder and managing director of Informed Engineering Limited, a company that offers BIM implementation guidance, information management process implementation, CAD services, 4D modelling and simulation, and CDE configuration to major infrastructure projects.

 Tom has a proven track record of project managing CDE migrations, developing strategies and implementing processes, and delivering to standards on multiple high-profile civil infrastructure projects, such as the Thames Tideway Tunnel, Crossrail, and the London 2012 Olympic infrastructure project. He is an advanced user of Bentley software, with strong 3D modelling, 4D simulation, and 5D integration skills. He has also worked overseas on several occasions, providing 3D, 4D, and 5D modelling support on civil structures projects and working with global leaders in the field. Tom is passionate about launching innovation programmes, providing a basis for continuous improvement, and establishing trustworthy relationships with clients and teams.
